Description: IGF-1 LR3 is a synthetic, chemically modified analogue of the naturally occurring Insulin-like Growth Factor-1 (IGF-1). The “LR3” designation refers to the replacement of Glu with Arg at the 3rd position and a 13-amino acid extension at the N-terminus. This structural change significantly lowers its affinity for IGF-binding proteins (IGFBPs), leading to a much longer half-life (approx. 20–30 hours) compared to standard IGF-1.
